Fast and simple advise. Don't open the roof...for the next one year. It is probably a $3000 job if I based it off Audi A4 Cabrio.

Welcome into the Lion's den hi

Hello Justin,

You didn't check the working roof before you purchase the car?

Unless you are really a DIY person, you probably won't be able to fix it cheaply because the workshop may know a few tricks but they want to profiteer.

If you are from engineering background, these things should not be really difficult to fix up.  If motor is working (you can hear the motor whirring sound), hydraulic part is easy.

if the hydraulic can be service, then it would be quite cheap to repair.

go to those 10 wheelers workshops, they always service and repairs their hydraulic....
maybe they could help repair yours too.

Problem is who is going to determine which pipe is leaking? So got to DIY right?

The seals are easily purchased at Race Course road.

Check around to see who can repair it. Best is get someone to remove it and you bring pump around to check. Those people who does hydraulic stuff like forklift can repair it, not the car workshop. The rubber seals are worth a couple of $$ only.
