Just found this forum.
Did not expected to find another active local SG forum...always depends on the malaysia autoworld one for information...
Hope to share things i know here...
Changed my air filter, battery and the headunit on my pug myself....

Very interested in DIY stuff on my car...hope to meet like minded people here....

welcome! tho i'm new too. haha. i did tried to change the air filter myself too but wasn't able to remove the whole cover, end up went down to my mechanic haha. damn tight space compared to other cars.

After a few trial and error you will eventually master the techniques. Especially if you see the mechanics at work. Very Happy

Urs the turbo model?
Mine the vti one....maybe vti one easier to access....Smile

yea, turbo model. need abit of skill of remove the cover haha.

Turbo model the filter pretty big a piece.
I wrongly bought the k&n previously....
The VTI one pretty easy to remove.... just a few screws and then its out....

Do you clean your k&n filter regularly?
I cannot remember the last time i cleaned it.... hahahahaha

Have been going to AF for my servicing... will probably try Anthony Tan's workshop once my current left 3 servicing runs out....
I just bought the package this year jan.....

I live in the west and so anthony tan's workshop is closer....Very Happy

when u feel that your lion cant breathe. hahah. for me normally about 40k then clean and oil. for singapore road condition, the filter wont be in a very dirty condition. so depends when i feel like cleaning haha.

Yeap... been really lazy recently so did not do much to my ride....
maybe its time to clean the filter....
Usually during my servicing i would get the SA to not do anything to my k&n filter....
They will pass me the extra filter for keeping since i already paid for it....Very Happy

haha, waiting for my grounding cables to arrive then i'll put up my pivot mega raizin from my previous ride. hehe. cos wasn't able to dekit so have the cut the cables angry
