Dear All,

I'm a soon-to be peugeot owner,

First time pug owner and collecting my car soon,

Was wondering if any expert is willingly to go down with me and help in inspecting the vehicle before i take over.

Don't mind paying a small fee !

Thanks in advance.

cheers

Thanks B77.

Puegeot 307cc but now like got some issues with the dealer.

Altho he seems to be a nice guy, ( i think he is just that his trade is too . complicated)

I have called AF and verify with a bro that it comes with a spare tyre.

Dealer insist there isn't any spare tyre and it only comes with a pump kit and he told me that i seems to be expecting a new car. Maybe his too frustrated but come'on who won't want to have what they should have?

Can some bros here advice me on what is a must have for this car before i go down next week to collect?

Any any other things to take note.

There are cars that comes with pump kits, I am not sure about 307cc. However you can tell if the kit is original from factory. The boot will have a nicely cut foam to accomodate the pump and sealant.

There was a time when I helped a friend to view E240. There were a few E240 at the dealers' place. There are cars with spare tyres and there was one unit with no spares but comes with a pump kit. You can see from the storage that the pump is original factory equipment.

General condition of the car is most important. Since it is a cabrio, make sure roof can open without juddering.

My 307cc came with spare tyres and some tools. Honestly I can't imagine any car that has no spare tyres

Dear pug owners,

is it recommended to send my just purchased used car to AF for health check/servicing or Thomas and partner is good enough?

You can check the service history with AF, they might be able to disclose to you.

External workshops should be ok for health check/servicing.

Depends on who pays for the health check. If Dealer pays then AF. Smile

How much is AF or TP is charging for the inspection? Perhaps you check with them then decide.

AF charging around 100+
TP Charging around 50.

Anyway vicom got grading want? cos they dealer just called saying that everything is good but there isn't any grading etc.

Just to add on...Mechanic can only tell you what they can see at this point. Means like suspension loose or got sound, worn out.

Mechanic cannot predict things like Aircon going to spoil, Cooling coil going to leak or Shock absorber needs to be change soon. Auto Gearbox going to spoil, etc....

I mention these things so you get your expectation align as to what inspection can do.

Dealer just called telling me the cooling coil leak ( same as bro tksoh)

Said they r going to repair it for me first which take few day. Shocked

Any experts here can advise would they or can they just seal up the hole that's causing the leakage or they would have to change the whole thing?

IMHO, doubt dealer would spent that sum of money to replace a new one for me tho.

Hmmm crazy

Leak is very very small. There is no way to seal the "hole" and if really want to seal it, they have to remove all the fins which cost them much more.

The only thing the dealer can save money is to install a non-original cooling coil which is $100 cheaper.

Just collected my ride.

Can someone advise for 307cc , after engaging reverse gear, only one tail light(left) will lit ?

Or it should be both?

Most hatchbacks are in this manner.

One Reverse light in the left.

Is the above engine temp and coolant temp normal?

after 10mins of drive more or less the temp will gradually rise and stop at 100 degree for the engine while 80-90 for the coolant .

Since both tksoh and jamesbond have similar car, the problems at about the same age is similar too. Can take reference from each other.
