So far,

I still do not have the chance to full load 7 adults yet.
Maximum were 4 adults + a baby in car seats + heavy stroller at the back.

I didn't feel anything different then.

Hi Juliet,

Japanese parts are not really cheap either especially if you are talking about AD prices. As for 5008 new car, I think you probably won't see huge repairs within 3 years or 60,000kms. So I guess the cost of ownership may be about the same as a Jap MPV.

The 5008 will give much pleasure in driving vs the Japanese counterparts. Those Honda Stream / Toyota wish don't offer 240nm of torque on the tap. Smile

Usually the maintenance will come at around 5th year mark. Engine mounting, shock absorbers, aircon coil and compressor, etc. It also depends if you are the type who takes care of the car or those rough user.

Mechanical parts can be replaced easily but not plastic interior parts.

If you are a heavy user, then it would be best you change car around 3 years. Just about the time when warranty is about to run out. Car prices holds during warranty period. Once out of it, drop like flies.

Hi,

I have been driving the Pug 5008 for the last 3 months. So far, the drive is very good

even with 7 Person on it. I use to drive a Toyota Estima 2.4 ,the Estima pick up speed is

no where near the Pug 5008. As for the comfort in driving, the Pug 5008 is still a better

drive.Just to share.

thanks for the sharing.

i guess 5008 is a better option in term of price. of course there is ford s-max but the price is too high now but it give 5 years warranty tough.

actually bery difficult to decide.... wife colleague not in favour of Pug cos some bad experience.... to do with some circuit board... but i fell in love after test drive.... haiz... with Beemer engine, Lexus gearbox, i do not see any major issue...... but must say my lancer really served me well for past 7 years of super heavy usage.... maybe expectation of Pug need to be at least on par

i think pug quality and reliability is picking up. not sure which model ur wife colleague drive.

overall if for comfort drive and reasonable price i think 5008 still good option. maintanance is really depend how you take care and how heavy you use the car. my megane almost 5 years and so far so good. i drive heavily... got 1 bro in rcc got a lot of problem after 3 years. so may be luck play a part too Very Happy

Just collected my 5008 a week ago.

It's a nice drive with plenty of power on tap for a 1.6L engine.
