Abt ,

Other than the seat creaking, what other issue did you face that made you regret on the purchase.

I believe you bought the car during the "lowest" list price period in early Aug . Can you share what was the price you gotten and how "good" is the car camera.

There is a 308 Active (SFX plate ) near my kid school in TWL , the car camera look bulky and may partially block the driver left side view...

At that price u can only get toyota altis elegance keyless. Honda was at 120k n not keyless. But the big 2 is strong. Go to tis warranty website. Honda has strongest reliable engine 1 failure to 345 produced. Merc is fourth placing. Even volvo n jaguar is in top ten reliable. Peugeout is from 6th bottom up 1 failure in every 44 cars manufactured

Hi Abt,

Don't worry. Peugeot parts are cheaper than Toyota and Honda. You can buy them from Kian Hua autp spare or Trans Hua.

To give an example, my 2011 508 front shock absorber is $100 each from Kian Hua but Toyota Altis is $120 at stockist, both original parts.

The shocks actually didn't spoil. It is the bearing and mounting that cause low speed sound, ki kok ki kok. So since take out to change the top mount bearing, I change the shocks too. Also because I am not sure which component is making noise. Moreover $100 for original absorber is not expensive.

PSG Prince engine also won best designed engine for few years running. But look at the number of complaints on timing chain issues and carbon formation at only 50K. Mini Prince engines in the US Kanna Class action court case for timing belt issue. It may have won the award for being the most problematic engine by now.

Never be taken in by those promo that shout they are the best. You have to scrutinize what the award is all about.

Just completed my first 5000km, i am getting FC 13.6 km/l with average speed 30km/h, 70% highway. I doubt I can improve further.

This is my best FC so far ... on 90% HW  ...  current mileage 4500km
Ave consumption is 12km/l , a lot of short distance run everyday  (getting 7-8 km/l readout )

Did a Muar run yesterday ....  16.3km/h with some usage of cruise control while getting 14.5km/l with some hard running.

Quite easy and fun to drive   Thup  , hitting 160km/h before I ease off.

It is still stable better than my jap Suv ( not a good comparison due to height , higher CG ) .

Car still can go faster not a problem ....
